Innovation that Closes Gaps: Technology and Data-Driven Care for Women and Children’s Global Health
The Institute for Global Health at BC Children's Hospital and BC Women's Hospital + Health Centre are thrilled to announce the 8th Annual Global Health Conference (GHC26). This year’s conference will take place on 9 April 2026 from 8:30 am to 1:30 pm PDT at BC Children’s Hospital’s Chan Centre for Family Health Education. GHC26 will be presented in a hybrid format and offer both in-person and virtual access.
This year’s theme is Innovation that Closes Gaps: Technology and Data-Driven Care for Women and Children’s Global Health. GHC26 invites a practical, real-world conversation on how innovation can advance equitable women’s and children’s health outcomes globally. Discussions will focus on what it takes to ensure that technological progress truly works for the health systems, providers, communities, and global health partners who need it most. The goal is to create an inclusive discussion forum for anyone interested in global health, data, and technology - everyone is welcome to attend!
