Join Lunch with SARAVYC at UBC featuring Yeshvi Mehta (she/her) from SARAVYC and Julia Vokey (she/they) from Planned Parenthood Newfoundland and Labrador.
Yeshvi and Julia will share early insights from For Youth Like Me, a youth sexual health intervention study for 2SLGBTQ+ youth ages 14–25. The session will highlight what the team is learning through outreach, implementation, preliminary youth feedback, and the project’s evaluation approach.

About the presenters
Yeshvi Mehta (she/her) holds a Bachelor of Sciences in Integrated Sciences, with a focus on Global Health and Physiology, from the University of British Columbia. She has experience in clinical research, project management, and community engagement within the healthcare sector, and brings a strong interest in community health and inclusive healthcare to her work at SARAVYC.
Julia Vokey (she/they) was born and raised on the beautiful island of Newfoundland. She has been working in youth education for the past five years and has been working with SARAVYC since September through Planned Parenthood Newfoundland and Labrador.
