The UBC Centre for Migration Studies warmly invites faculty and graduate students from the School of Nursing to the 2026 CMS Migration & Integration Conference:

Supported by the Migrant Integration in the Mid-21st Century: Bridging Divides research program, the conference brings together researchers from across disciplines to share and engage with new work on migration and integration. The program creates space for critical exchange, collaboration, and engagement across fields and career stages.

PhD Student and Graduate Nursing Student Association President Shams M. F. Al-Anzi (supervised by Dr. Elizabeth Saewyc and Dr. Rubee Dev) will be presenting at this event.

The program also features a panel discussion titled “Communicating Migration for Impact”, and an informal networking lunch open to all, with a special welcome to graduate students.
