Dr Saewyc enters Sigma Hall of Fame

12 Mar 2019

Dr. Elizabeth Saewyc has been named a Sigma Theta Tau Nurse Researcher Hall of Fame Honouree for 2019. Dr. Saewyc is the only researcher from Canada among 22 others who will be inducted to the Hall of Fame at the 30th International Nursing Research Congress in Calgary in July. This year marks the tenth anniversary of this award, sponsored by Wiley and awarded to 176 nurse researchers to date. This award acknowledges Dr. Saewyc’s extensive research in nursing and notes that she has “achieved significant and sustained national or international recognition and [her] research has improved the profession and the people it serves.”

As an honouree in a special session at the 30th International Nursing Research Congress Theory-to-Practice: Catalyzing Collaborations to Connect Globally, Dr. Saewyc will receive her award and participate in a panel discussion.
