Dr. Fuchsia Howard has been named as a recipient of the Michael Smith Foundation for Health Research Scholar Award. Dr. Howard's research program is in Critical Illness Survivorship: Evidence to Design Patient-Centred Interventions, which aims to identify patient-and family-perspectives for designing healthcare services that meet the needs of the high percentage of ICU patients who are readmitted within a year with complex medical conditions.

Dr. Alison Ezzat (supervisor Dr. Sabrina Wong) for Using electronic medical record data and patient reported outcome measures to improve the early identification and management of knee osteoarthritis in Canadian primary care
