**What:** Cabaret Fundraiser for SWIFA Mutual Aid. 30$ early bird, 40$ door.

**Where:** The Wise Hall, 1882 Adanac St, Vancouver, BC, V5L 4E5

**When:** May 22, 2026, 7pm - midnight

**Why:**

Safety concerns in Vancouver’s sex worker community are increasing with several recent funding cuts to core service. Those lack of community supports are amplified as Vancouver gets ready to host a large influx of tourists for an international sports event (FIFA). To address this deficit, a group of local sex workers and community workers, Sex Workers Interrupting FIFA Atrocities (SWIFA) will provide mutual aid including a drop-in safe space and supplies during the FIFA period. Everyone can support their grassroots efforts at the cabaret fundraiser on May 22 at the Wise Hall. More information can be found here SWIFA FUNDRAISER and attached poster.
