Lecturer

Ms. Affleck’s primary work is within undergraduate program in the clinical and lab settings, supporting students in both the art and the practice of providing care to a variety of adult populations. She facilitates development of a variety of Community Partnerships to fully enhance the Primary Health Care practicum experience for students. In an effort to facilitate the application of the academic and practical aspects of the Older Adult Theory course, she developed the ‘Senior Mentor Initiative’ that sees students and older adults paired for guided weekly conversations.
