She has expertise in the design and implementation of simulation and virtual learning environments to support teaching and learning. She is currently the Coordinator of the Clinical Skills and Simulation Lab (CSL). ### Credentials ## Profile **Educational Background** BSN , University of British Columbia MSN , University of British Columbia **Service** In my role as Educational Resources Coordinator, I work closely with faculty, professional and technical staff to support the development and integration of learning technologies and information literacy skills into courses and programs as well as coordinate the Distance Education Activities Through my activities in educational development and support around technology integration, I focus on devising practical activities and materials to assist interested SoN faculty to effectively integrate technology into their teaching. This role involves overseeing the Learning Resources Centre as well as the coordination of the distance education activities, including online course and resources development. I have been a member of the SON teaching faculty since 1987. The courses I teach are related to Nursing Roles and Competencies and developing skills for clinical practice. An area of particular interest to me is the design and implementation of simulation and virtual learning environments to support teaching and learning.
