The UBC Student Services website on Finances & Financial Resources offers excellent information on tuition, scholarships, financial aid and loans.
2024/2025 Tuition Fees: excluding all other costs (e.g. books, supplies, accident insurance, CPR certificate renewal etc.) based on 30 credits.
- Canadian Residents: $5,960.10 (CAD) ($198.67 per credit - Starting 2024W)
- Tuition fees are published in the UBC Academic Calendar and are reviewed annually by the UBC Board of Governors.

Advising for Prospective Applicants
The BSN Program offers virtual drop in (in person at UBC-V Campus) and scheduled (online) advising appointments for prospective students.

Sessions are heavily requested and so must be kept to 15 minute appointments. Please ensure to thoroughly read the information on this website as well as the Frequently Asked Questions, prior to attending an advising session to make the most of your time with an advisor.

Who is this info sessions for?
These virtual information sessions are for anyone who is thinking about applying to the UBC-V BSN program. It is for those who would like to learn more about the program and gain insight into what it’s like to study nursing. These information sessions are also helpful for anyone who wants to learn more about what is involved in submitting a BSN application.

British Columbia College of Nurses and Midwives (BCCNM) - Registration Requirements
When you apply to register as a Registered Nurse with the British Columbia College of Nurses and Midwives (BCCNM) upon completion of the BSN program, you must meet BCCNM's Competencies and Standards for Entry-Level Registered Nurse Practice in British Columbia. It is important that you are aware of these requirements prior to applying for admission to the nursing program.
If you have concerns about whether or not you meet the Required Skills and Abilities from the BCCNM for practicing as a registered nurse, you may request an advising appointment with BSN Admissions.
