Navigating the Research Roadmap at UBC

This presentation includes a review of the UBC Office of Research Services’ (ORS) research road map, as well as services and resources available to researchers to attract funding. Additional tips on how to speed up release of funds, compliance issues, external vs. internal funds, and best practices in the administration of research funds once released will also be covered.

The 30-minute presentation is followed by an open Question & Answer period to allow time to discuss specific challenges.

BIO: Shehnaz Motani is the research awards officer for Health Sciences at UBC. She has been with the Office of Research Services for over 15 years.
