Usability Testing: Why and how every project can benefit from user feedback

Watch Video

About

Time: 12-1pm

The user experience (UX) and usability of products is receiving increasing attention, and with good reason. The ease with which people can learn to use what you make affects the impact and reach of your product. Luckily, attending to the user experience with usability testing is easy, inexpensive, and accessible for non-experts to do. This session will detail how anyone can (and should!) add usability testing to any educational or KT product development process.

Bio: Letitia is a UX professional with ten years of experience in the private and public sectors. She is currently focused on assessing the effectiveness, efficiency, and satisfaction of learning technologies through work at UBC’s Centre for Teaching, Learning & Technology.
