Active in nursing research across the program. Current area of interest include VAC Caregiver burden, smoking after heart transplantation, web-based self-monitoring tools for heart failure patients.

Current Teaching

I teach in the areas of heart transplantation, heart failure, acute heart failure and the use of mechanical assistance for the management of acute heart failure. I have supervised BSN and masters students in these areas as well as facilitated nursing student’s clinical time in the area of cardiology.
