Current Teaching
As well as my teaching role, I am the Educational Resources Coordinator for the School of Nursing. This role involves overseeing the Learning Resources Centre as well as the coordination of the distance education activities, including online course and resources development.
I have been a member of the SON teaching faculty since 1987. The courses I teach are related to Nursing Roles and Competencies and developing skills for clinical practice. An area of particular interest to me is the design and implementation of simulation and virtual learning environments to support teaching and learning. To this end I engage in applying my expertise as a nurse educator to developing and implementing initiatives focused on the integration of computers and technology.
