Dr. Erin Kennedy is an assistant professor of Teaching in the Nurse Practitioner and Bachelor of Science in Nursing programs at UBC. Grounded in a constructivist approach, she cultivates experiential and self-directed learning that empowers students to think critically and lead with confidence in complex health systems. Her teaching spans classroom, lab, and clinical settings, where she mentors students across the continuum of nursing education from foundational BSN learners to experienced Registered Nurses advancing into reflective Nurse Practitioners. Dr Kennedy’s scholarship focuses on leadership development, health promotion and curriculum innovation, preparing graduates to navigate system-level change and advance equitable, sustainable models of care.
