Innovative Nursing professor mindful of student engagement and interest who thrives on experiential learning. Time-tested designer of targeted lectures with the audience in mind, devising the most effective methods for helping participants acquire intended information. Creative thinker with the flexibility to allow the audience to guide the direction of lectures and achieve most out of interdisciplinary education experience. In addition, a focused Clinical Instructor with over five years' success in developing and improving nursing programs, designing innovative curricula and creating highly engaging didactic and clinical lessons. Excited to bring talent to growing nursing program and developing highly knowledgeable and skilled registered nurses.

Teaching

Currently teaching within the BSN program in Terms 1, 2, and 3.  I currently teaching in both theory courses and within the clinical setting.  

In my teaching, I draw from a diverse nursing practice background, including pediatrics, med-surg, ER, and primary care, to collaborate and support learners to achieve their goals and maybe even surpass them.
