• Assisting in identifying potential research collaborators and partners for inter- and multidisciplinary grant applications
• Providing critical reviews of draft proposals, with particular attention to ensuring that the research proposal and the funding program objectives are matched, and that applications meet UBC research policies
• Coordinating peer-supported analysis and strategizing for unfunded grant proposals
• Providing faculty members with School and institutional signature services
• Access to sample grant proposals & information on funding opportunities
• Support the development of Letters of Intent & grant writing assistance
• Copy-editing and formatting of grant applications and research publications
• Budgets and budget planning consultations
• Expedite grant proposals and ethics applications
• Assist with RISe introduction
• Research poster layout and liaising with printers
• Coordinate research seminars and workshops 
• Reporting on unit research metrics
