College of Registered Nurses of British Columbia (CRNBC) NP Standards Committee, Vice Chair. Review and revision of the NP Scope of Practice document and related standards. The scope of practice document details standards, limits, and conditions for NP practice in accordance with Regulation. The revised 2016 NP Scope of Practice document includes NP prescribing of Controlled Drugs and Substances, NPs providing Medical Assistance in Dying to qualified clients, NPs being able to order Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI), and NPs being able to complete the Persons with Disabilities (PWD) Designation Application. These changes made it possible for NPs to become part of medical staff, admit and discharge patients to/from hospital and provide more comprehensive services to clients in all settings.

Research Interests
My research interests are related to Nurse Practitioner (NP) and Advanced Practice Nurse (APN) education, regulation and practice, as well as role implementation, development and evaluation locally and globally. I also have an interest in the lived experiences of APNs, and leadership development.
