Bio
Ms. Rooney is an Assistant Professor of Teaching in the Nurse Practitioner (NP) program at the University of British Columbia. With a deep commitment to lifelong learning, Ms. Rooney teaches across classroom, lab, and clinical settings, mentoring and supporting students as they transition from expert Registered Nurses to novice Nurse Practitioners. Her dedication to NP education and curriculum design ensures that students are well-prepared for excellence upon graduation. Current areas of interest include all aspects of primary care, where she continues to contribute to the evolution of NP education.
