Bio
Ms. McBurney is a Lecturer in the School of Nursing and her areas of expertise and experience include community nursing, education and leadership. Since joining the faculty in 2006, she has taught in foundational nursing and community courses, primarily in the classroom setting, in the undergraduate program. Her leadership roles included the Clinical Instructor Coordinator position and the Clinical Instructor Mentor. Most recently, Ms. McBurney has returned to clinical practice and is sharing her passion for community nursing through teaching in a home health clinical setting within the Primary care nursing course.
