Addressing Commercialization in a Research Program Designed to Promote Health Equity

About

Time: 12:00-1:00 pm

Requirements to address commercialization are becoming increasingly common in research funding applications. Drawing on her experiences in applying for infrastructure funds, Dr. Bungay will discuss the meaning of commercialization and steps taken to address it in her research program. This session will explore the challenges inherent in the commercialization trend and generate strategies to promote successful funding applications that do not detract from a research focus on health promotion.
