Professor Taketoshi Mori will provide an overview of the Global Nursing Research Centre at the University of Tokyo. This novel research center brings together nursing and engineering to advance research and development related to care innovation and nursing systems including Robotics Nursing, Biological Nursing, Visualized Nursing, Clinical Nursing Technology, Reverse Translational Research, and also, Health Quality and Outcome Research and Care Quality Management.
BIO: Professor Mori is a biomedical engineer with expertise in robotics, computer science, and electrical engineering. He has over 300 publications. He is the founding director of the Department of Life Support Technology and is currently developing the Division of Robotics Nursing in the Global Nursing Research Centre of Graduate School of Medicine at the University of Tokyo. His recent research interest includes from nursing informatics, pressure ulcer prevention by techie mattress, gait measurement, monitoring technology of community elderly, to penetration of robotics into nursing field.
