Join us for a candid discussion about the historical contexts, emerging best practices, and policy implications for nurses.
Bio: Dr. Emily Jenkins’ research utilizes community engaged approaches in the areas of mental health, substance use, and healthy public policy development. She works to support the inclusion of patient and community voice throughout the research process to inform policies and programs that are evidence-informed and responsive to a diversity of lived realities.
Emma Garrod is an MSN student at UBC, and a clinical nurse educator – Substance Use, Urban Health Program, Providence Health Care. She is also a past graduate of the Addictions Nursing Fellowship, BC Centre on Substance Use.
