Jessica Webb attended the University of British Columbia earning a double major in Psychology and Gender, Race, Sexuality and Social Justice. Since then she has worked in numerous locations in the Downtown Eastside, including Urban Native Youth Association, WISH Drop-In Society and Sheway. In December 2018 Jessica will successfully complete the Complex Trauma Graduate Certificate from the Justice Institute of BC. She currently works as Aboriginal Infant Development Consultant at YWCA Crabtree Corner and as a Research Assistant with UBC School of Nursing. 

Robyn Lean is a mixed heritage Cree and Scottish Canadian woman. She has been working with women and children in Vancouver’s downtown eastside since the beginning of 2015 at both the YWCA Crabtree Corner (in her current role as Aboriginal Infant Development Consultant and North Fraser Regional Advisor) and Sheway (in the Infant Development Program). 

Dr. Francine Darroch holds a Banting Postdoctoral Fellowship in the Men’s Health Research Unit at the UBC School of Nursing. Her research engages with participatory action research to understand and address health issues for highly marginalized parents and families through examining the intersections of race, class, and gender. The aim of her research is to leverage physical activity to improve quality of life and health outcomes for marginalized populations.
