About
Robotics and artificial intelligence are advancing quickly. Many people are worried that technology will replace nurses and doctors, and in-person visits. In this presentation, Dr. Lillian Hung will describe her research on the use of robotics in long-term care for social connections. Dr Kristen Haase will outline her research with cancer patients and their carers in using technology to develop strategies for care. The problems and potential possibilities of technology adoption in senior care will be discussed.
DFP Seminars are Wednesdays at noon, topics will be detailed closer to the scheduled dates. Seminars will be held via Zoom unless otherwise specified.
