Engaging with Participation, Knowledge, and Power: The Co-Creation of Intervention Research Tackling Inequities in Health and Social Care

#HASTalks is a seminar series curated by The Department of Health, Aging & Society at McMaster University.

Dr. Vicky Bungay, Tier II Canada Research Chair in Gender, Equity, and Community Engagement, and Professor in the School of Nursing at the University of British Columbia, will illustrate how community-based, participatory research (CBPR) shapes intervention research including the metrics necessary to test feasibility and acceptability in a pilot study to enhance health and social care among women experiencing gender-based violence and street-involvement.
