Nursing on the Frontlines of the Climate Crisis Course: Education for Action

This course has been developed through a collaboration between the Global Consortium on Climate and Health Education, Nursing - Climate Resources for Health Education, the Alliance of Nurses for Healthy Environments, the Canadian Association of Nurses for the Environment, and Climate Action Nurses. Open to colleagues, friends, students, and alumni.
As the most trusted health professional voices, the nursing community holds significant influence to protect patients and prepare health systems. The goal of this course is to equip nurses globally with the knowledge and tools needed to prepare for local and global health-related impacts of a changing climate. This 10-session virtual course is intended for a global audience of nurse practitioners, educators, and students. Lectures will be delivered by local and global nursing professionals with expertise in the field. Registration is free of charge and video recordings of each session will be available for asynchronous viewing.
The course will run on Tuesdays from October 1 to December 3, 2024, from 12:00 - 1:00 PM Eastern Time (EST) US/Canada.
