The Graduate Student in Nursing Association (GSNA) at UBC is hosting a School of Nursing Research Symposium event on May 8th from 10:30am to 4:00pm. This free event is an opportunity to showcase nursing students' hard work, and enjoy networking, a free lunch, and refreshments! The theme for this year’s symposium is: The Power of Collaboration: Advancing Together. The deadline for abstract submission is Friday, April 11th.
The research symposium is held the same day as the UBC Nursing Gala for those planning on attending that event. Prizes will be handed out for the top presentations! The tentative schedule of the research symposium is below:
10:30am - Symposium Start (coffee & network)
11:00am - Land Acknowledgement & Keynote Speaker
11:45am - Poster Session
12:15pm - Lunch
1:00pm - Oral Presentations*
2:30pm - Networking Break
2:45pm - World Café (networking event)
3:45pm - Awards & Closing Remarks
*Please note there are a limited number of spots available for oral presentations.
Registration is open to nursing students at the undergraduate and graduate levels enrolled in any nursing program in BC. Registration is free for both presenters and attendees.
