About the Research Project
“Negotiating Care and Navigating Health Services: The Experiences of Community-Dwelling People Living with Dementia and their Family Caregivers” is a qualitative study that follows families over time. This project examines the diverse experiences of people living with dementia and their family caregivers as they negotiate care (e.g., decision-making, allocation of care work) and navigate services in the community. The data are comprised of 2 years of regularly scheduled semi-structured interviews and monthly caregiver diaries with fifteen caregivers.
