The School of Nursing at UBC is the oldest university-based nursing program in Canada. We have an international reputation for excellence in research and scholarship, and we value health equity, social justice, and community engagement. We offer a full range of innovative programs, including an intensive upper-division BSN, MN-NP, MSN, MHLP, and PhD degrees. The successful candidate will demonstrate an independent, nationally or internationally recognized program of scholarship or research relevant to nursing, health, health care practice and/or health policy. They will have a record of excellence in teaching courses at undergraduate and graduate levels, experience in supervision of graduate nursing students (both Masters and PhD), and evidence of leadership in an academic setting at the University or Departmental level. Applicants must have earned a PhD in nursing or a related discipline, and be eligible for registration with the BC College of Nurses and Midwives. The successful applicant will be eligible for tenure at UBC.
