The UBC School of Nursing is currently inviting applications for a Sessional Lecturer to teach the Stress and Strategies to Promote Well Being course (NURS 180, 3 credits). The course will be offered to students in Term 2 of the Winter Semester, from January 1, 2024 to April 30, 2024.
The Sessional Lecturer will be responsible for the teaching of Stress and Strategies to Promote Well Being, delivery of the course, classroom teaching as well as management of the information and learning activities in the Canvas shell, facilitation or provision of suitable learning experiences for students (e.g. teaching, mentoring, supervising). This position will evaluate students (marking assignments and evaluating participation) according to identified evaluation criteria. Duties also include all end-of-course work, including any deferred or supplemental examinations that might be required or re-reads that students are entitled to receive. This position is expected to meet all grade submission deadlines.
