Mobilizing research to lead nursing practice and improve outcomes: Knowledge translation in action

Knowledge exchange and mobilization are effective strategies to accelerate the uptake of evidence to improve outcomes and health services, and promote meaningful partnerships between knowledge users and producers. We will discuss key conceptual underpinnings, and aspects of the practice and science of knowledge translation. We will explore examples of knowledge translation initiatives aimed at closing the gap between evidence and practice, and strategies used to create impactful collaborations with knowledge users.
