The Research Agenda for Promoting Women’s Health and Well-being
Presenters: Dr. Saima Hirani and Dr. Rubee Dev
Women’s health and well-being are multidimensional constructs shaped by biological, psychosocial, and cultural determinants. Investing in women’s health and well-being can improve health outcomes, not only for women but for their families and communities. Current evidence suggests there are various tools and interventions for improving women’s health; however, there is a gap in the provision of screening tools and interventions that are women-driven. This session will present two research studies highlighting the examples of women-driven tools/interventions.
