We are thrilled to announce that the National Academy of Medicine, has appointed Dr. Margaret P. Moss, Associate Professor and Director of the First Nations House of Learning, to the Board of Population Health and Public Health Practice. The National Academy of Medicine (NAM) is one of three academies that make up the National Academies of Sciences, Engineering, and Medicine in the United States. Together, the National Academies -provide expert advice on some of the most pressing challenges facing the nation and world. [Their] work helps shape sound policies, inform public opinion, and advance the pursuit of science, engineering, and medicine.
