As COVID-19 continues to spread, there is growing concern about its impact in low-and middle-income countries like Pakistan where the impact could be extreme given its fragile economy, limited healthcare resources, widespread poverty, gender inequality, and poor health outcomes.

The Priority Announcement funding for early career researcher-led Patient-Oriented Research will help launch development of a mobile app to reduce social isolation, support person-centred care, and continuity of care when moving between hospitals and care homes.
