Educators Showcase: Bringing an Equity Lens to Teaching about Mental Wellness/Health, Substance Use Health, and Suicidality (October 3rd)

This Showcase provides an opportunity for health and mental health educators to discuss strategies and approaches to teaching about mental health, substance use health, and suicidality through a health equity lens. 

We will:

1. Provide an overview of EQUIP's resources regarding the intersections among mental health, substance use and suicidality with attention to trama- and violence-informed care, cultural safety, and anti-racism.
2. Engage in discussion about how teaching can be approached in a wide variety of classroom and clinical settings.
