As one of the ten individuals who are honoured in 2021 with the Applied Science Dean's Medal of Distinction, retired Associate Professor Patricia "Paddy" Rodney has:
- Demonstrated exemplary work in Nursing, (the other member disciplines are Engineering, Architecture and Landscape Architecture, and Community and Regional Planning)
- Became a leader who has made exceptional impacts in her field
- Made longstanding or significant contributions to advance the Faculty's mission, vision, and mandate.
