Join the celebration! Jagbir Kaur has recently been named among the BC Cancer Foundation and BC Cancer Research Institute's 2022 Rising Stars!

Jagbir is a Clinical Nurse Specialist at BC Cancer and UBC Nursing doctoral student who has an interest in equity-oriented cancer research that centres the experiences of racialized and minoritized individuals and populations. She works closely with her supervisors Dr. Leah Lambert and Dr. Sally Thorne to "examine the unmet needs of Panjabi-Sikh cancer patients during treatment to inform system level strategies to address gaps in care and fill unmet needs of one of BC’s largest visible minority groups."
This is a historic award for nursing research at BC Cancer and we highly appreciate this opportunity to highlight the important work Jagbir is doing.
