Where can I find my BSN Program Course Schedule?
Please refer to the schedules posted on the School of Nursing website and your course syllabus.
Where can I find the current Textbook list and purchase textbooks?
Textbook lists can be found for each cohort at the BSN website under Schedules and Textbook section
Purchasing textbooks and reading packs is the responsibility of each student. Having up-to-date publications is incredibly important. Students are free to purchase books from any source (UBC Bookstore, online, used, etc.) and in any format, as long as they are the correct edition.

Where could I find information on the equivalents of English and Biology required courses?
The tables with English and human Anatomy & Physiology (HAP) course equivalents are available on the BSN Admissions website under Course Prerequistes.
Where do I go if I need emergency financial aid?
If you are experiencing a financial emergency, Enrolment Service Advisors can help you explore your options and manage your finances.
Should students in the School of Nursing have emergency financial needs beyond what UBC is able to provide assistance with, they should contact their program advisor for more information.

Where I can find UBC School of Nursing policies and procedures?
The UBC School of Nursing Policies and other information are available under the “Current Students” section of the website.
Where is the Lost and Found?
General items left in the lab or classrooms will be moved to the Nursing Lounge (T252).
Electronics and other valuable items left in the lab will be kept at T168 by the CSL team until claimed. If left in classrooms, administration reception at room T201 will hold until claimed.
Unclaimed items will be donated or disposed of at the end of the year.
Which credits are used to calculate the grade point average?
To be eligible for admission into third year nursing, applicants need at least 48 non-nursing, university transferable credits. However, the GPA is calculated on the most recent completed 30 transferable credits up to December of the year of application, including any failed and repeated courses. In cases where counting back 30 credits lands in the middle of an academic term, the academic average of that term will be used for the remaining required credits to reach the total of 30.
Who can I contact in case of course-related issues?
Take questions and concerns about specific course issues to the course leader. If the issues have not been resolved or cannot be addressed directly, you can contact the appropriate level coordinator.
