The advisor acts independently of course-related roles, acts as an advocate for students at progression meetings, advises on a range of helpful resources. Conversations between the advisor and students are always confidential unless:
- The student gives permission for the information to be shared
- Such information indicates a risk to other students/clients or to the students own safety
If in doubt you can always ask the BSN Advisor, who is always keen to offer practical suggestions.
