The School of Nursing congratulates Dr. Suzanne Campbell, who, on November 15, 2021, was inducted as one of two new Fellows of the Canadian Nurse Educator Institute (CNEI), as part of the Canadian Association of Schools of Nursing (CASN) Virtual Awards Recognition Event. She was praised for her "enduring and substantial contributions to nursing education," and in addition, was honoured for her leadership in teaching and learning, her active promotion of excellence in faculty development, and for her program of research in nursing education and nursing education scholarship. In addition, Dr. Campbell is recognized, among other things, for her experience in nursing education administration, for her mentorship of students and peers, for her innovative teaching and learning strategies, and for projecting an "unthreatening yet powerful persistence" in advocating for nursing education.
