Congratulations to Professor Elizabeth Saewyc, one of UBC's newest Distinguished University Scholars.
The Distinguished University Scholar program recognizes members of UBC Faculty who have distinguished themselves as exceptional scholars. The award is conferred by the President on the recommendation of an adjudication panel. Dr. Saewyc will retain the title of Distinguished University Scholar for the duration of her tenure at UBC.
